My paddle's egde gt abit of wood chip off

If the edge of the paddle hav abit of wood chip off, will it affect the performance? Can it be repair?

u are hitting at the centre of the bat ... wood chip off at the side of the bat wont affect that much.

if u stand 1 step back and think about that ... if u keep hitting the ball at the edge of the bat, the possbility of miss ball is very high !!!
